Alla scoperta di autentico laboratorio artigiano e di alcune delle più raffinate tradizioni manifatturiere della città.

Galleria Michelangelo apre le porte del suo atelier con alcune visite guidate dedicate alla scoperta della tradizione della pelletteria storica e artistica fiorentina, profondamente legata alla storia di Piazza Santa Croce e al suo intimo legame con la Basilica, dove la presenza dei monaci francescani ha contribuito nei secoli alla diffusione delle arti della manifattura, rilegatura e decorazione dei testi sacri.

Proponiamo visite accompagnate al nostro laboratorio artigiano, situato nello storico Palazzo Pepi (XV secolo), durante le quali i partecipanti potranno scoprire le lavorazioni tradizionali del cuoio, la rilegatura e il restauro di libri antichi, la realizzazione del cuoietto fiorentino e di copertine in pelle.
